Not gonna lie, "haunted tennis" wasn't on my horror bingo card for 2026, but here we are.

The game puts players in control of a supernatural entity guiding a traveler through a haunted ghost town while manipulating the world around them. The art style looks fantastic, and after Bloober's recent success, horror fans are paying attention whenever they announce something new.
SAW: Genesis Continues Building Hype
While not a brand-new announcement this week, Bloober Team also continues promoting SAW: Genesis, the upcoming multiplayer horror title based on the legendary Saw franchise. The game recently appeared at Gamescom and remains one of the horror multiplayer titles I'm keeping a close eye on as we head toward 2027.

Halloween Reading Season Is Here!
October is almost here, which means my favorite time of year to sit down with a good horror novel.
A lot of readers have been talking about Blacktail by Scott Hawkins, a dark fantasy and horror novel involving forest gods, strange creatures, and cosmic horror elements. It's getting a lot of praise from horror readers and sounds like exactly the kind of weird book season we're heading into.
Im still loving The Harbor, which I recommended last post, I'll update when im done!
New Horror Anthology “All Hallows Eve” for Spooky Season
Another title making noise among horror readers is All Hallows Eve, edited by Ellen Datlow. The anthology brings together some of the biggest names in horror fiction for a collection of Halloween-themed stories. Do I think a rock caused Brexit? Probably not.

While it doesn't offer any definitive answers, it's the kind of reminder that keeps paranormal enthusiasts coming back: no matter how much we think we know, there always seems to be another strange story waiting around the corner.
