Polyamorous Hell - “CreepyPasta” Review by Josh

Josh here, I wanted to give you my thoughts on this story. Full disclosure, this will probably be the first not positive review I give.

Story:

There is a town where once you turn 18 there are a few things that happen. One you get a card that has the first name of your “soulmate” and then two a series of rules. These series of rules cannot be told to anyone except people over the age of 18.

The story was an interesting one to say the least, I don’t really know why this falls under the blanket of creepy pasta. I suppose there are a few “creepy” things that you see later in the story, but I feel like it was more of a love story. Not really a whole lot to go from but wanted to share my thoughts anyways.

Spoilers and Thoughts:

This will probably be my first not negative but not positive review…

  • First question I asked was what happens if these rules are broken?

    • Answer: Seems like you go to almost like a purgatory. Town that is basically empty with no buddy but the lost ones.

  • Who are the lost ones?

    • You never really know, but one can assume it is just the people who broke the rules.

  • What are the rules?

    • We don’t really know anyone else’s but for our main character, it’s nobody who can go into public waters, river etc. No TV after 9 Pm. No faucets after 9 pm, which include sinks, showers, etc.

  • Who was the protagonist’s soulmate?

    • Someone by the name of Avery

  • What happens to the protagonist?

    • He is thrown into a public water source which causes him to be punished for it.

  • How does the story end?

    • You don’t really know, he is talking to a doctor, and that’s how it ends. I think Creep Cast was just kind of over the story so maybe there was more to it.

Final Thoughts:

I think the premise of the story was good, if it leaned more on the horror side of it. It just seemed like it became more of a love story between Avery and him.
